Match for 1st place in the 3rd league | ŠK Modra nad Cirochou – ŠK TJ Slávia PU Prešov, March 2, 2025

Unfortunately, we did not enter the strongest lineup (due to illness) and so we did not manage this match and lost 3 - 5. After leading the competition, we dropped to 2nd place.

The team from Modra nad Cirochou entered with a very strong lineup. GM Mikuláš Maník played on the 1st chessboard and WIM Alena Mrvová on the 2nd chessboard. Both of them are from Prešov, but they are wearing the Modra nad Cirochou jersey.

Our players had ratings about 300 Elo points lower. We fought! 

The final standings will be decided by the last match against Reinter Humenné juniors.
